Hose & Cable Floats are designed to be used primarily for Single Point Mooring, Mining, and Cable flotation applications. The floats are specifically engineered with open rounded edges that give the hoses/cables flexibility to adjust to currents and wind. Rubber pads are available to ensure a tight fitment. These floats come filled with PU as a standard.
Constructed from high-impact polyethylene, the floats come in two halves and have eco-friendly features. Polyethylene is well-known for its durability, and given the demands that hose and cable floats face in marine environments, durability is critical. These floats are engineered with the environment in mind, as well as the users' safety and protection.

Customers have the option to include Closed Cell Polyurethane filling and can obtain empty float shells based on their requirements. The CellFoam utilized in production is eco-friendly and complies with environmental standards.
The PN, which stands for Pressure Rating (e.g. PN16 suitable for 16 kg/cm²), indicates the maximum pressure that the float can withstand. Meanwhile, the SDR, or Standard Dimension Ratio (pipe OD to its thickness), aids in determining the necessary material standards for the float.
Standard accessories such as nuts, bolts, and tensioning straps are included when you purchase floats from us. However, if you require further assistance, our Tensioning Machine is available for purchase separately.
